Regarding the download and installation of Orca-Flashforge, and features such as device connection, file transfer, and remote control, please refer to Orca-Flashforge Quick Start Guide. This guide solely focuses on the coloring and sending of multi-color models.
1. To slice a multi-color model, you first need to ensure that multiple colors of filament have been added to the Filament bar on the left side of the menu (IFS supports a maximum of four colors, so you can add up to four filaments).
Note: When slicing, ensure that the temperature difference between the filaments used is not too large, otherwise, an error will occur during slicing and slicing will fail. For example, PLA and ABS cannot be sliced together.
2.The image above shows four colors of filament added.
3.Click the buttons in the image above to add or remove filaments.
4.Click the number box on the left to modify the filament color, select the color in the pop-up box, and click [OK].
1. If you have a multi-color 3MF file, you can directly import it into Orca-Flashforge. After importing, re-select the printer as AD5X and choose the appropriate filament types and colors to complete the model coloring.

2. If you have imported multiple objects, you can color each object individually in the menu on the left.
Switch to the menu and click the color box for the object.
In the drop-down menu, select the color you want to apply to the entire object.
For example, selecting [3] will change the color of the object to white.
3. If you have imported a single model, try selecting the model and splitting it into parts or objects. (After splitting into parts, you can still move or color all the parts together as a whole; after splitting into objects, each object can only be moved or colored individually). Then, color each part or object individually as described in Step 2.
Note: Not all models can be split.

After splitting, you can view all the parts in the menu on the left.
For example, change Part 3 to black.

For example, change Object 3 to white.
4. If you want to directly paint the model, click the [Color painting] button in the toolbar to enter the coloring interface. After finishing the coloring, click [Color painting] again to exit the coloring interface.
Click [Color painting].
Enter the coloring interface.
① Select a color.
② Choose a tool type and adjust the tool settings.
③ Clear all coloring to restore the model.
After completing the coloring, click [Color painting] again to exit the coloring interface.
Once you've finished slicing your multi-color model, simply click [Print plate] to directly start the print job.
After clicking [Print plate], a file sending pop-up will appear.
① Click the button here to specify the corresponding channels on the printer for each color configured in the sliced file. For example, black should correspond to Channel 2 on the printer.
② The [Enable IFS] option is checked by default. You must keep it checked to use IFS for multi-color printing.
③ Select the corresponding printer.
④ Once the above three options are selected, this button will light up. Click [Send] to send the file and start printing, as shown below.
Note:
1. Multi-color models do not support batch file sending.
2. If the filament type on a certain channel on the printer does not match the filament type configured in the sliced file, that channel cannot be selected. If a channel on the printer is not loaded with filament, that channel cannot be selected either.
3. Channels 1 and 2 cannot be selected.
