The textured PEI Plate is made by coating a layer of PEI powder onto a stainless steel sheet. Its surface features a distinctive textured finish, which is also transferred to the bottom of your prints. It is compatible with a wide range of filaments and, in most cases, delivers excellent adhesion without the need for glue, making it extremely easy and convenient to use.

1. Strong Adhesion, Long-Term Durability, Easy Part Removal
After optimizing the manufacturing process of the Textured PEI Plate, its adhesion and durability have been significantly improved. When printing with PLA, PETG, or TPU on this plate, no solid or liquid glue is needed.
Note: If the ambient room temperature is below 21°C, it is recommended to apply glue to the PEI plate.
2. Parts Release Automatically After Cooling to Room Temperature
The textured PEI surface is designed to withstand repeated heating and cooling cycles of the heated bed. Because PEI and filaments shrink at different rates, prints usually come off easily once the plate cools down. For larger models, wait until the PEI plate cools to room temperature, remove it from the bed, and gently bend the plate to get the model off effortlessly.
3. Broad Filament Compatibility
The Textured PEI Plate can be used not only for common filaments such as PLA, TPU, PETG, and PLA-CF, but also for high-temperature filaments like ABS, ASA, PA, and PC.
Note: Before printing high-temperature filaments such as ABS, ASA, PA, or PC, be sure to apply an even layer of glue to the build plate. Without sufficient adhesion, prints may warp or detach, potentially colliding with the extruder and causing print failure.
The Textured PEI Plate is made by coating PEI powder onto a steel sheet. After extended use, you may notice reduced adhesion. Below are the recommended cleaning methods for the PEI plate.
Cleaning Precautions:
Do not use acetone or similar organic solvents for cleaning, as they may damage the PEI coating.
Ensure that the detergent used contains no oils or moisturizers, as residues can remain on the surface and reduce adhesion.
Due to its textured surface, alcohol may spread the oils on the print surface rather than remove it. Therefore, dishwashing detergent is recommended for cleaning the Textured PEI Plate.
Tools Required
Dishwashing detergent;
kitchen sponge/plastic brush,
lint-free paper

Cleaning Steps

Prints Detaching
Solutions:
White Residue on the Bottom of Prints After Using Glue
Solution: This whitening is usually caused by glue curing under heat. Wipe the bottom of the print with a cleaner or alcohol to remove residue and restore the original appearance.
Residual Marks on the Build Plate Surface
Solution: After long-term use of glue with certain filaments, light or dark marks may appear on the build plate surface. Most marks can be removed by cleaning with dishwashing detergent and water, or by wiping with alcohol.
