During long-term operation, the optical axis/guide rail of the Y axis may experience some particle crystallization on the guide rail due to friction and the incorporation of external dust, which will cause the Y axes to run smoothly and become stuck during the operation of the print head. Slight issues will affect the appearance of the printed model, while severe ones will lead to laggy printing and offset.
1、Maintenance Cycle
Depending on the usage frequency, we recommend the following maintenance intervals:
High-frequency usage (average daily printing time ≥ 5 hours): Perform a full cleaning and lubrication of the Y axis once a month.
Regular usage (average daily printing time 1–5 hours): Perform maintenance of the Y axis once every 2 months.
Low-frequency usage (average daily printing time < 1 hour): Perform maintenance of the Y axis once every 3 months.
