The chamber surfaces reach high temperatures during the drying process. Avoid direct contact with the exterior to prevent burns.
- Place the device as recommended in the Quick Start Guide. Placing it too close to or too far from the printer will increase filament feeding friction, which may compromise print quality.
- When loading filament, make sure the spool is installed in the correct direction so that the filament feeds smoothly into the outlet.
- The heat resistance temperature of the spool should be higher than the set drying temperature to prevent the spool from deforming.
- Notes on drying different types of filaments:
- Do not exceed the recommended drying time when drying TPU filaments, as prolonged drying may deform the spool.
- Do not place PA (nylon) filaments and other types of filaments in the same chamber. PA is highly susceptible to absorbing moisture released by other filaments, leading to re-absorption.
- Low-temperature filaments (such as PLA, PETG, and PVA) should not be dried at high temperatures. Doing so may cause deformation, and uneven filament thickness may lead to printing issues.
- For best results, “drying while printing” is recommended.
- When ambient humidity is high (>70%), Auto Dehumidification can maintain humidity levels inside the chamber between 20% and 40%. If lower humidity is required, active drying is recommended.
- When there is a significant drying temperature difference between the two chambers, heat may transfer between them. For example, if Chamber A is set to 45°C and Chamber B to 85°C, heat transfer causes Chamber A's temperature to temporarily rise to around 50°C. This is normal, and the temperature will automatically drop back to the set 45°C in about 1 hour.
