Flashforge VDS (Ventilated Drying System) is a professional auxiliary device designed specifically for FDM 3D printing filaments, providing moisture-proof storage and active filament drying. VDS not only maintains a constant low-humidity environment to keep filaments in optimal printing condition at all times, but also actively controls temperature and humidity to efficiently remove absorbed moisture from filaments, ensuring consistent filament performance and high-quality print results.
- High-temperature drying up to 85°C, meeting the drying requirements of 90% of commonly used filaments (including TPU elastomers, carbon fiber composites, and engineering filaments)
- Dual-chamber design, enabling simultaneous drying and storage of two different filaments
- Dual control modes: local control and printer-integrated control, supporting both standalone operation and seamless integration into the 3D printing ecosystem
- Filament Drying: Supports heating up to 85°C to dry moisture-affected filaments and maintain a low-humidity environment (with humidity kept below RH20%).
- Active Dehumidification: Provides automatic dehumidification (when in the connected mode).
- Display Function: Displays real-time temperature and humidity for each chamber, along with device status.
- Independent Dual-Chamber Control: The two drying chambers can be configured independently with different temperatures (45-85°C) and durations (0-24 hours). Two different filaments can be processed simultaneously without affecting each other. Each chamber is equipped with an independent PTC heating and air circulation system to ensure even heat distribution.
- Standalone/Connected Control: Supports both standalone local operation and connected integration with the Creator 5 series printers.
